Two operating modes with different redundancy
All our VPS plans can run either as cluster (HA) or standalone instances. The choice determines whether a node incident triggers automatic failover or manual troubleshooting.
Cluster (HA)
Your VPS runs on a cluster of nodes with automatic failover. In case of hardware failure, the instance is migrated to another node within seconds.
Unclustered / standalone
Your VPS runs on a single node without automatic failover. In case of hardware failure, manual troubleshooting is required before service can be restored.
Clustered or standalone operation is selected when ordering. Contact us if you are unsure which fits.

What we are most often asked about virtual servers: resources, scaling, backup, and upgrade paths.
Are the vCPUs dedicated or shared?
All vCPUs are dedicated. You get the cores you pay for and are not affected by other customers' load. No burstable tricks and no hidden CPU quota.
Can I change plans without downtime?
Yes. Upgrades between plans happen with short or no downtime depending on configuration. Contact support and we will plan the window together.
How long is the commitment period?
None. All plans run month to month. You can scale up, scale down, or cancel before the next billing period without extra fees.
Is backup included?
No, backup is an add-on service. We offer daily backup, extended retention, external copies, and application-aware backup, for example for MSSQL. You choose the protection level based on your requirements. See Storage and backup.
Can I switch to dedicated hardware later?
Yes, that is one of the points of our platform. When a VPS plan is no longer enough, we help you plan the move to a dedicated server
with the same data center, same network, and minimal downtime.
Is all data stored in Sweden?
Yes, by default. Your data and backups stay within Sweden unless otherwise agreed. Compliance details under Data centers & security.
